Mark Hooley, CPA, Principal

Mark Hooley is a principal based in Reznick Group’s Tysons Corner, Va. office. He has more than 12 years of experience providing audit and tax services to publicly traded and closely held companies in the software, information technology, real estate and distribution industries. 

Mark is knowledgeable in planning and executing effective and efficient audit procedures for a variety of organizations. He has extensive experience identifying and resolving various technical accounting issues such as revenue recognition (including arrangements under SOP 97-2 and SOP 81-1 and multiple element revenue arrangements under EITF 00-21 and SAB 101/104), embedded derivatives, purchase price allocations, freestanding and detachable stock warrants, share based payment, income tax accounting and asset impairment. Prior to joining Reznick Group, Mark served as a senior auditor for Andersen Consulting, and senior accountant and analyst for Siemens Shared Services.
