Wyman Winston, Atlanta Development Authority

 

Wyman is a veteran public finance administrator with over 30 years experience in government, nonprofit, community economic development and public/private partnerships. Mr. Winston began his community development career with South Shore Bank of Chicago, the first private community reinvestment bank in the country.

Prior to joining ADA he served as Deputy Executive Director of the Portland Development Commission working on a wide array of complex public / private partnerships and major urban redevelopment projects. During his tenure at the Commission he launched the successful efforts to bring New Market Tax Credits (NMTC) to Portland, Oregon and established an industrial TIF district. Wyman is a founding member of the Portland, Oregon Realtist. He also served on the Board of Directors of Wisconsin first Black-owned bank and as a Board of Governors for the Pacific Northwest College of Art.

Wyman currently serves as the Senior Commercial TADs Manager at the Atlanta Development Authority. His primary duties are attracting private investment to three of the City’s Tax Allocation Districts of Campbellton Road, Hollowell / M.L. King and the Metropolitan Parkway.
