Reznick Group Helps Lead Change in Community Through DeKalb County Green Commission

In collaboration with DeKalb (Ga.) County Commissioner Kathie Gannon, Super District 6, Reznick Group participated in the Green Commission of DeKalb County's weekend seminar featuring environmentally friendly techniques for residents on  May 15.

In line with Commissioner Gannon's mission for the Green Commission to lead by example, the weekend seminar was part of a multi-part program focused on a wide variety of sustainability efforts and eco-friendly aspects of greener living.

Lee Peterson, Atlanta senior manager and part of Reznick Group's national renewable energy practice, served on a panel, "Energy Efficiency 101," and moderated a panel, "Renewable Options for the Future."

Additionally, Reznick Group's Anita Kathuria, associate in the tax group and renewable energy practice, serves on DeKalb County's Green Commission. Recently, Commissioner Gannon acknowledged Reznick Group's contribution to the DeKalb County community:

On behalf of CEO Ellis, the DeKalb Green Commission and the citizens who attended Saturday's Energy Efficiency Workshop, thank you so much for co-sponsoring and participating. The information and inspirational attitude you provided made for a fantastic educational experience. We are confident that all in attendance left with useful information that will help them save energy and money ... I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank you for Anita Kathuria's service on the Green Commission. It's been our experience that we can always count on Anita's help and support.
