The award is named in honor of Daniel M. Grady, a NAHB builder who contributed nearly 50 years to the housing industry before his death in 1991. It is presented annually to an NAHB member who best embodies the spirit and dedication of its namesake to quality affordable housing, and whose advocacy work with the NAHB has made a difference to the housing industry.
"For more than 30 years, David Reznick has demonstrated his commitment to providing quality affordable housing through working with developers, Federal Agencies and Congress to promote ideas and practices that boost and preserve the nation's affordable housing stock," said NAHB Chairman Bob Nielsen, a builder from Reno, Nev. when presenting the award. "It is my pleasure to present this award to David Reznick for his leadership and great commitment to affordable housing and to our association."
