, Managing Director, Reznick Group's Western Region Real Estate / Financial Institution & Litigation Consulting Services, published an article, "Commercial Real Estate, 2012" in the December 2011 issue of Commercial Property Executive. The article focuses on the challenges facing commercial real estate in the coming year, including a second real estate "bubble" as investors pay more and more for properties in primary markets. In addition, the approximate $1.4 trillion in commercial real estate loans coming due between now and 2014 will most probably flood the markets with "distressed" properties, thus causing further general decline in pricing. All in all, due diligence and careful planning will be the keys for survival in the coming months.
