Tim Kemper, Reznick Group's Renewable Energy Practice Leader, was quoted last week on National Public Radio in a new brief that focused on renewable energy growth in 2012.

As reported by Eve Trail with NPR's Marketplace Sustainability Desk, despite the expiration of the solar tax grant at the end of 2011, the renewable energy industry is set to see growth in the New Year.  The piece discussed the impact the expiration of the grant expiration on smaller solar companies and developers and explored how larger solar companies will use the remaining tax rebate as incentive to entice new investors.   With new investors and utilities promising to purchase the power produced, new capital is driving the market growth throughout the year.

The sustainability news brief aired last week in Minneapolis, Minnesota on KNOW 91.1 FM and in Southern California on KPCC 89.3 FM.
